Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 19, 2026
1. Who Provides the Service, and Acceptance
TelcoSec ("TelcoSec", "we", "us") is provided from Portugal. Contact: [email protected].
By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. Acceptable Use
TelcoSec teaches offensive and defensive telecom security. The techniques are only to be used where you are authorised. You must not:
- Use anything learned or obtained here against a real network, operator, subscriber or device without the written authorisation of its owner.
- Transmit on licensed radio spectrum, or operate a base station, jammer or IMSI catcher, except where the law and any required licence allow it. Lab radio work must stay shielded or within your licence; you are responsible for complying with the radio and telecommunications law where you are.
- Use lab SIM credentials, UE configurations or VPN access outside the TelcoSec labs, or attack, scan or overload lab infrastructure beyond the lab's stated scope.
- Share your account, lab credentials, VPN configuration or flags with anyone, or publish lab solutions.
- Circumvent access controls, payment, rate limits or tier locks, or scrape the platform.
- Use the platform for anything unlawful.
3. Use License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the course and lab materials for your own learning and security research. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership. You may not:
- Resell, republish or redistribute the materials, or use them to deliver training to others, without our written consent.
- Decompile or reverse engineer the platform software (except where the law allows it).
- Remove copyright or other proprietary notices.
Using the platform at work, to train yourself for your job, is fine. Organisations that want to enrol a team should contact us for a team agreement.
4. Billing, Subscriptions & Cancellation
A free account gives access to the free content. Paid access comes in two forms:
- Subscriptions - the Professional plan (and the Operator plan, once available), billed monthly or annually, unlocking the content tier shown on the pricing page . Subscriptions do not include ProLab access.
- ProLab access - a one-time payment for one specific lab, giving 30 days of access. Buying again extends the window. When the window ends, access to the lab environment stops and its lab state may be reset; your recorded progress, flags and certificates stay on your account.
Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. Cancel any time from the billing page of your account portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, you keep access until then, and there are no cancellation fees.
Refunds beyond your statutory rights are at our discretion - contact us via the Contact page. Where a refund or chargeback is granted, the related ProLab access or subscription is revoked. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription.
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or digital services. By asking for immediate access at checkout, you agree that access starts straight away and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once access begins. This does not affect your statutory rights if the content is faulty or is not supplied.
5. Suspension & Termination
You can close your account at any time from your Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms - in particular the Acceptable Use rules - or where the law requires it. Except for serious or unlawful misuse, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. If we close your account without cause, we refund any prepaid period you have not used.
6. Warranty & Liability
Without prejudice to your mandatory rights as a consumer (including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services), the platform is provided "as is" and we give no further warranties.
We are not liable for how you use what you learn here, or for indirect losses. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury, fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Responsible Disclosure
If you find a vulnerability in TelcoSec or through our modules, report it following our Security Policy .
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply to you. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts there.
Contact us first - most issues are solved quickly. Consumers may also use an alternative dispute resolution entity (Lei n.º 144/2015); a list is available at consumidor.gov.pt. You can also file a complaint in the electronic complaints book, Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico.
